Oh no, look out for the nerdy plane spotter

Okay, in a worrying direction here are some piccies that border on nerdy planespotting.



If you've ever wondered how planes come into being, now you know! They are in fact born tail first like whales and dolphins from special factories. I think you have to feed the other end with lots of metal and plastic and stuff.

My new job in procurement means I have to buy factory food. Just don't even think about how factories mate etc.. you really don't want to know!

For all you planspotters this is the first 747LCF that will be used by Boeing to ferry around large bits of factory food for their new 787 aircraft.

All's quiet and hot here in Germany!

Well, it's been a very hot few weeks here in Germany, perfect weather for just lazing around. Work has been very slow due to the heat and most sensible people taking holidays.

But I have been slaving away at work when I read about Castro ceding power temporarily to his brother. Even cancelling his birthday celebrations on 13th August.

Wait a minute....... isn't that Dave P's birthday too? Are they brothers, or unbeknownst to most people in fact the same person?
